It is 2011, and what else should kick off the year than a good mixtape? This year is going to be an exciting one with all of the expected new music arriving, in the meantime lets get down and deep with a great mixture of jazz, poet, hiphop, and soul.
This blend of genres there is a theme from beginning to end; let's see where your mind is enticed to drift off to. Music should be emancipating, inciting, and inviting; such that we can walk away filling good. Each mixtape is carefully mixed to give the listener such an experience, while promoting positive and uplifting music. It has been a long hiatus from producing podcast for your all, what a shame! I know, but you brother has been all over the place with moves to Japan, this thing we invest in called "life," and all the stuff in between war and peace; however, here I be for you. Yes, it is true that I am set to bring Freedom Verse Cafe back to the people who deserve nothing but the best in poetry, jazz, and soul...what better way than to crack the door wide open with a brand new mix-tape?We left off at volume XIV (14), a beautiful amalgamation of the FVC special blend of good word and soul.
